Paul Magder

Paul Magder is a retired Electronics Technologist. He worked for 27 years in manufacturing. The last 20 years of his career was involved in designing, building and selling electronic test equipment.

In 2013, Paul started Repair Café Toronto with two other co-founders. Repair Café Toronto is made up of volunteers who enjoy fixing all kinds of broken things. They travel around the city putting on events where people can bring their broken items and learn how to fix them. Each event provides volunteers who can fix everything from computers to clothing; from small appliances to jewellery. As well, there is always a variety of refreshments and wonderful conversations.
